3M™ Cavilon™ No Sting Barrier Film is a completely alcohol-free, stingfree liquid barrier film that dries quickly to form a breathable coating that helps protect damaged or intact skin from bodily fluids, adhesive trauma, friction and incontinence. Each individual sterile package contains 1.0ml of No Sting Barrier Film saturated onto a foam pad. This product’s proprietary formulation contains a unique Terpolymer for skin protection and a plasticizer that forms a flexible, protective coating. A unique solvent system provides fast-drying and leaves a non-sticky, protective film that won’t interfere with other materials while enhancing patient comfort. The film is transparent, allowing continuous visualization and monitoring of skin at risk for breakdown. The unique formulation in the Cavalon™ No Sting Barrier Film family provides long-lasting protection.
