Brand: divya's
Features:
- Cultured Ghee: Our small-batch full-moon ghee is made by culturing grass-fed A2 cream, which is then churned into fresh butter and slow cooked on the full moon until clarified. Organic, non GMO, packed with nutrients for gut health, immune system, and digestion.
- Full Moon Tradition: Once a month, on the full moon, we slow cook the cultured butter–a process that separates the remaining hard-to-digest milk solids, proteins, lactose and residual liquid in the fresh butter from the butter fat. The final product is cultured ghee that looks like liquid gold, free from impurities, easy to digest, and with a delicious buttery aroma and taste.
- Promotes Health & Digestion: Ghee clarified butter nourishes your body with its butyric acid and linoleic acid by supporting a healthy microbiome, nutrient assimilation, and overall health & well-being.
- Cooking: With its high smoke point, ghee is perfect for all cooking methods, including sautéing, roasting and frying. Replace your coconut oil, butter, and other oils with Ghee.
- About Us: Divya’s is on a mission to help people find joy, nourishment and balance through food based in Ayurvedic principles. We offer one-pot meals and other kitchen staples.
Details: Ayurveda considers the energy of the full moon to be particularly healing and nourishing for the environment and our minds. Making ghee on a full moon day or night in a sacred environment increases the vibrational potency of the grass fed ghee. On a physical level, our small-batch Full Moon Cultured Ghee is made from the highest quality organic, grass fed A2 cultured cream, which is difficult to source in large amounts. You’ll notice that this product is of a richer yellow-golden color–this is because it has even higher amounts of butyric acid than our regular cultured ghee. We source organic milk A2 cream from happy cows grazing in the pastures of Pennsylvania or New York. A2 dairy is the easiest to digest, and when the cows are grass fed, their milk is much higher in essential nutrients. We then culture (i.e. ferment) the cream–this engages the beneficial lactic acid bacteria to transform the residual milk sugar (casein) into smaller and easier to digest peptides. We then churn this cultured cream into fresh cultured butter, which is easier to digest than sweet grass fed butter. Once a month, on the full moon, we slow cook the cultured butter – a process that separates the remaining hard-to-digest milk solids, proteins, lactose, and residual liquid in the fresh butter from the butter fat. The final product is cultured ghee that looks like liquid gold, free from impurities, easy to digest, low carb and with a delicious buttery aroma and taste. Full-moon ghee is an ancient Vedic practice of mindfulness, service and respect for the cows, the earth, and the consumer.
