Ingredients: Active ingredient1 tablet contains: 5 mg biotinOther ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, pre-gelatinized starch (from corn), carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.) [vegetable]; Take 1/2 tablet daily (corresponding to 2.5 mg biotin). For prophylaxis, less than 0.2 mg of biotin per day is sufficient. To cut the tablet exactly in half, place the tablet with the score line facing up on a firm surface and press it with your finger. To treat multiple carboxylase deficiency: Take 1 to 2 tablets daily (corresponding to 5 to 10 mg biotin). Take BIO-H-TIN® Vitamin H 5 mg tablets whole with sufficient liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water). BIO-H-TIN® Vitamin H 5 mg is taken until the biotin levels in the blood normalize. The duration depends on the course of the underlying disease. Please ask your doctor about this. In the very rare case of biotin-dependent, multiple carboxylase deficiency, it is taken for life.
